What can we do,
Working with local partners to bring the Atlantic Forest back from the brink - restoring several acres of land and planting as many trees possible in the near future.
Tropical forests like this one play a particularly special role in the fight to end global climate change. This reforestation effort will also remove tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere every year - Like taking lots of cars of the road.
We already work with conservation organizations, local landowners, state and federal officials and agencies as well as private companies to protect, connect and buffer what is left of this extraordinary forest.
The ecological and economical effects of such campaign will be felt locally and globally. One of our goals is to protect 10 critical watersheds in the Atlantic Forest that provide water and hydro power to more than 70 million people. And we hope to create jobs as part of this landmark conservation effort.
At just 2 dollars per tree, please help us to plant trees to ensure even more lasting results for one of the the Earth's last great places.
